Fair Days

We made a quick trip to the Stevens County Fair tonight after work. Always a good (and free, which makes it all the better) time. Managed to pick up a cool donut-like frisbee from our phone company...and saw lots of random stuff.

Making the sheep 'baa' is always a goal of mine as well...and here again, I was successful. smile

We also saw several very neat pictures in the 4-H exhibits. I don't care so much for the baking/sewing/plants stuff, but I always like looking through the photographs and furniture.

Selecting a show...

I placed another order for perusal scripts today...another five of them. This makes the number I need to go through now 10. That is, when they arrive. So, we'll see what happens with that. I also need to start seriously looking at performance dates and rehearsal schedules as well...and hopefully get a game plan in place by September 1.

Aside from that...'s more...of the same...

And There Was...THREE-ACT!

Yes, it's official! Matt was appointed RCW Three-Act director officially today. This is cool news, and I was quite stoked to hear about the appointment.

I had been on the 'list' (meaning they were waiting to hire a new art teacher first) and had assumed that I would probably get the job, but wasn't sure. So, I'm pretty excited about it all...and have some neat and exciting things I'd like to do in this larger production. That's about all that's new today...and I should probably get back to working on narrowing down a production to do...

Wedding Bells Have Rung...

Well, we returned yesterday afternoon from our trip to the cities. Overall, it was a fun time. smile We left on Friday morning and picked up Minda on our way to Ian's house in North Minneapolis. Although Ian lives near "the ghetto" (as reported by him), his neighborhood seemed to be decent enough, although urban (and therefore not something I particularly care for). Anyway, it was a lot of driving over the weekend in total, but we married off Ian, and all was good. smile

In Other News...

Not much has changed, minus the fact that Big G will be on vacation for the next two weeks or so...which means that I get to be the #1. And that's about it...
